The Fabric Graphics Association Mission/Objectives
To foster and service the fabric and graphics industries by being the one stop source for market applications to fabric.

Association Objectives:

Advance and promote the industry by becoming the first source for information regarding fabric as the medium and the message, for new technology and for growing the industry.

  • Educational seminars - FGA will present a symposium during IFAI Expo 2010 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.  IFAI Expo the Americas showdates are October 27-29.  The symposium, Innovation in Graphics is scheduled for Thursday, October 28 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. The FGA Annual Business Meeting will follow.

Assist members in the promotion of their businesses
Proud Member of FGA Logo, Sustainability Partner Program, Recyle Program for Textiles.              

Provide educational programs and seminars to increase industry knowledge in technology, techniques, materials, standards, regulations and markets.

Identify issues of common concern and take a pro-active role in implementing and seeking solutions for those concerns.

  • Assist in the selection of printing mediums by preparing the Guide to Fabric Substrates for Digital Printing 
  • Address fire codes in exhibit hall locations – through IFAI form a fire code task force to address issues and challenges.
  • Develop relevant industry definitions
  • Create networking opportunities for members to seek solutions to problems during educational sessions such as zone workshops and exhibiting at tradeshows.
Advise all members of new and improved materials, methods and techniques designed to improve the quality of their work or the efficiency of their production.

  • NEW: Sewing & Fabric Welding workshop during IFAI Expo is an example as well as the Fabric & Graphics Symposium 10.
Accept the responsibility of sound and ethical business practices as the collective aim of the association.

  • All IFAI/FGA members commit to adhere to the FTC Compliance Laws.

Sustainability Partner - Fabric Graphics Association

As a member of the Fabric Graphics Association, a division of the Indusrial Fabrics Association International, we are committed to supporting sustainable business practices of the textile and graphics industry.

We encourage the understanding and implementation of environmentally, socially and economically resposnible programs that support the growth of its member companies.

We work with manufacturers and suppliers to promote products that are environmentally friendly.

We encourage our members to adopt practices that conserve resources and energy in their processes as well as minimize the use of harmful chemicals.

We encourage members to design their products to lower the use of energy throughout the life span of the product.

We encourage members to look for opportunities to apply sustainable practices throughout their entire organizations not just on the plant floor.
